ABOUT SALLY KAY JEWELRY

When people ask to buy the ring off your finger or earrings from your ears, you start to wonder whether your passion for jewelry design is more than a pastime. That’s what happened to Sally Kay.

Sally’s path to jewelry creation, a lifelong infatuation, was certainly circuitous. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from the University of Pennsylvania, and followed that up with an AAS from New York’s Parsons School of Design. A stint as an assistant to a leading interior designer put Sally and her creative skills to work in some of Manhattan’s finest homes and offices.

Eventually, Sally returned to school and received an MBA from Columbia University. After fifteen years as a successful executive in the direct mail industry, Sally realized…the corporate world isn’t for everyone.

At last, Sally embraced her passion for jewelry design. Initially creating pieces for herself and her two teenage daughters, Sally was soon asked by others where they could buy the beautiful earnings, necklaces, rings and bracelets. Working mostly in 18 and 22 karat gold and semi-precious stones, each piece in the collection is solely designed and created by Sally.
